Matching Gift Program

Many companies offer matching gift programs to encourage employees to contribute to charitable organizations. Some companies will even match the contributions made by their retirees and their employees’ spouses. Most matching gift programs match donations dollar for dollar, but some will double or even triple the amount of your contribution.

To determine whether your company will match your gift, Double the Donation offers a free company search tool on their website. It can be found by clicking here.

If your company is eligible, request a matching gift form from your Human Resources Department. Fill it out, sign it and send it along with your gift to OCPSA. We will do the rest. It’s that easy. Your company will send its matching donation directly to OCPSA.

What if my company doesn’t have a matching gift program?

If your company does not currently match employee donations, it doesn’t hurt to ask. It might just inspire your employer to start a program.
